Arctic Shores
Interactive tasks with no questions. Arctic Shores says there are no right or wrong answers.
Format
- A series of short interactive tasks with no questions. The tasks record how you approach problems.
- Candidate guides describe 10 to 18 tasks over 25 to 35 minutes, opening with a practice task.
Rules to know
- Arctic Shores tells candidates there is no right or wrong and that they do not need to practise.
- Use a laptop and a quiet room. Candidate guides advise against doing it on a phone.
Where practice helps
Helps
Familiarity with the task formats, so instructions cost you less time and fewer nerves. Prep sites report practice scores rising by about 14% by the fifth attempt, then levelling off.
Does not help
Most tasks measure style rather than ability, so there is no target to practise towards.
